About Reveol

What is Reveol?

Reveol is a financial modeling practice platform built for finance students and candidates preparing for M&A, Transaction Services, and Private Equity interviews. It combines a Financial Statements Visualizer with a DCF and LBO Exercise Generator that produces auto-corrected Excel files based on real company data from Financial Modeling Prep API.

Why Reveol exists

Most financial modeling resources are either too theoretical or locked behind expensive courses. Reveol bridges the gap: real companies, real data, and exercises that mirror the actual deliverables you would produce in an investment banking or private equity process.

The platform is built and maintained by a finance student targeting M&A and Transaction Services roles, with a focus on producing tools that reflect actual deal-room workflows — not textbook examples.

How it works

Reveol's Financial Statements Visualizer lets you search any US-listed public company by ticker and instantly visualize five years of income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow data. Key performance indicators are computed automatically: ROIC, ROE, ROCE, EV/EBITDA, Net Debt/EBITDA, DSO, DIO, DPO, and cash conversion cycle.

The Exercise Generator produces Excel files pre-populated with five years of historical financial data, leaving the modeling sections blank for you to complete. The model structure includes a DCF with both Gordon Growth and Exit Multiple terminal values, a 5×5 WACC × g sensitivity table, an EV-to-equity bridge, and a Football Field valuation summary.

Once you have completed the model in Excel, enter your key outputs on the platform. Reveol scores each metric independently with a ±5–20% tolerance depending on the metric type.
